What boards do you ride? 6'2" x 18 ¼ x 2 ¼ JS shapes or small stumpy fishy boards like my 6' x 19" Byrne Surftech is afavourite especially in summer. How long have you been surfing? About 15 years now, having injured myself too much skateboarding i was looking for a softer landing!

How do you pay the bills?
Work for Quiksilver Technical Division (Q Stix, Quik wetsuits, eyewear, watches) and Holy Sport Distribution, which includes distribution of Fin Control System and Channel Islands Surfboards.

What keeps you motivated / inspired?
Having the ability to combine my passion for the sport and its development with travel meeting new people and using new products. Being able to promote up and coming new talent also.

Where's your favourite surf spot?
Crikey!! Too many to mention, but on a good day, home (Porthtowan) is legendary but like most people who have travelled with their surfing, finding new spots and wearing boardies is always a good option. Brazil was great for that, closely followed by the reeling right handers on the East coast of Oz. Lennox Head, Currumbin Alley, etc.

What's your favourite music?
John Butler Trio, Ben Harper, Jose Gonzales, I like to see live bands too, had a great time watching Donavon and Jack Johnson the other week in Penryn and looking forward to seeing The Beautiful girls soon.

Any trips planned?
Off to France for seven days next week and we are trying to organise a trip to California in october time, a few weekend breaks to France (Brittany region) in the van this summer would be cool too.

Favourite alcoholic drink?
Havana Clubs are the go at the mo, but I don't mind a few froths of a weekend or sat around the barby, then again who doesn't eh?

Surfing hero's?
Slater and Irons, for their style and my mates for always being amped for a surf even when its blown to buggery! I also have a lot of respect for Nadia from Big Brother. In fact, I think I love her.

Worst Wipe-out? Surfing solid Belangan in Bali last December and losing one contact lens, coming up and taking a few more waves on the head and being completely disorientated whilst having my missus on the beach filming!! Always a good look!
